Tardy – student is not in the classroom on the way to their seat when the bell rings

NO Electronic devices-  No cell phones, CD players, etc.  They will be confiscated, turned into the office, and can be picked up at the end of the school day.

Disruptive – Each student is in the classroom to learn - it is my time to teach – talking out, passing notes, etc. disrupts those around you – be polite!

Disrespect – Each student is to show respect toward the teacher and fellow students.

Working in another program – Students are not to be logged into any program without being authorized to do so.  Students will not only lose daily points, but also computer privileges and will complete the quarter on a typewriter.

Additional Classroom Rules:

Wires/Cords – fidgeting, changing, pulling, etc. on any type of equipment in the classroom will automatically result in a detention!

Homework/class work – all work is to be placed in the appropriately labeled basket.  No work will be accepted by just handing it to the teacher, leaving it on the printer, etc.  NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Make up work – according to school policy, each student will have two days to make up work for each day of school missed (for excused absences only!)  Students will not be allowed to make up work missed for an unexcused absence.  It is each student’s responsibility to ask about the work that they have missed.

Grades – Printout of student grades will be given at midterms, end of quarter, and end of semester.  Midterm grades will be sent home with each student and will have to be signed and returned for a grade.
