I was born May 29, 1982 in Brussels, Illinois. My family and I moved to Carrollton when I was 3 years old. I attended the Carrollton elementary school from 1987-1996, the Carrollton High School from 1996-2000, and Monmouth College from 2000-2004. I graduated Monmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Social Science. I participated in a variety of sports through schooling, including 10 years of football, at the peewee, high school, and college levels. I was married in 2004 to Catherine Miller, and we currently have two girls at home, Grace (5), Ella (2), and a little boy, Charles, on the way (October 15th). We own and operate, along with Sherry Miller, The Flower Mill, florist and greenhouse here in Carrollton. I am also an assistant football coach, a volunteer fireman, a farmer, a member of the St. Johns Catholic Church, and the financial secretary for the Knights of Columbus.
